Shannon’s hospitality journey began at the young age of 14 with her first job at Hardee’s. Due to labor laws, her responsibilities were limited, but it wasn’t long before she moved on to Ohm’s Café at 15. She spent a decade there, waitressing and cooking, and building lifelong relationships with her customers who were like family.
In her role at CCRS, Shannon often spends her weeks visiting customers across the eastern side of the state. This hands-on approach allows her to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring that each customer’s needs are met with the highest level of service. These connections are at the heart of her work and are what makes her role at CCRS so fulfilling.
Shannon is particularly enthusiastic about our large selection of smallwares and Torani syrups. If Shannon could recommend one piece of equipment to every restaurant owner, it would be Turbo Air. Known for its great product quality, excellent customer service, and self-cleaning condensers, Turbo Air stands out in the industry.
Shannon enjoys salads, steak, and tacos—especially anything grilled. She has a passion for kayaking, camping, grilling, attending concerts, exploring nature trails, and visiting antique shops and flea markets.
A particularly memorable experience for Shannon was working with a customer who lost everything to a flood and then again to a fire. Despite these setbacks, the customer’s resilience and determination to rebuild left a lasting impression with her.
Shannon believes that what sets CCRS apart from other restaurant supply companies is our commitment to personalized service and building strong, lasting relationships with our customers. Looking ahead, Shannon is excited about working with a customer on a new coffee/bakery/steakhouse in the eastern part of the state. This project has been a significant learning experience, and the owners have been wonderful to collaborate with.
